Radha Press holds a unique position amongst the printers of India due to it’s association with the prominent saints of India, since its inception in 1960.
Shri Hit Sharan Sharma, the founder of Radha Press was a man of modern approach with oriental system of belief, thus he was very much concerned about the moral values of Indian society. He believed that no literature in the world can stand parallel to the teachings of Sanatana Dharma therefore he put all the herculean effort to be in the company of all the great saints, siddha masters, yogis of highest calibre, mendicants and the sages of contemporary India. His deep interest in Indian Philosophy, association with saints, being a true seeker himself and also being an owner of the printing press prompted him to have a dedicated wing for publishing the Indological works of these holy men.
Radha Press has been associated with spiritual leaders like A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupad (Founder of ISCKON) in such an intimate way that he stayed in the press building for many months before leaving of the world tour to spread Krishna Consciousness. Press also bags the credit of being the first one to print the world famous ISCKON magazine Back to Godhead.
To name a few more out of countless list Radha Press has printed the entire literature of the famous saint Shri Prabhudutta Bramhchari of Sankirtan Bhawan, Jhunsi and Allahabad. Press has been blessed by Maa Anandamayee, a self-realised saint form Bengal.

Library inside the press building beautifully displays the books by the famous saints like Udia Baba of Vrindavan, Dongre Ji Maharaj of Gujarat, Radha Baba of Gorakhpur, Kripa Shankar Ramayani, the renowned Ram Katha Vachak, Narayan Das Bhaktmali (Mama Ji) of Buxar, Swami Lakshman Joo of Kashmir, renowned Vedantic Swami Gangeshwarananda and one of his kind Shri Sudarshan Singh “Chakra” of Krishna Janma Bhumi – Mathura, all have been printed by Radha Press in due course of time.

The divine land of Vrindavan and it’s saints have loved Radha Press unconditionally that is the reason that press is continuously printing the sacred literature related to Radha Vallabh Temple, which follows almost 600 years old ritual tradition of “Ashtayam Seva” and many more. Similar to this Radha Press has printed a large number of books written by famous Bhagvat Katha Vachak, Swami Akhandananda Saraswati of Vrindavan and Hari Baba of Vrindavan.
This aspect of Radha Press was so much loved and appreciated by the legendary spiritual personality of Gita Press Gorakhpur, Shri Hanuman Prasad Poddar (fondly known as “Bhai Ji”), that he called upon Shri Hit Sharan Sharma and gave him a silver coin with a blessing that anything can happen in the world but work of “Radha Press” will never stop.
